Illegal NIN Enrollment Centre Operators Arrested In Kano State

The National Identity Management Commission has busted some illegal centres carrying out registration for the National Identity Number in Kano State. 

Administrators of the focuses were captured during an assault by NIMC authorities who gave them over to the police for examination. 

A portion of the things found at the focuses incorporate NIMC slips, counterfeit plastic ID cards and different reports having a place with the NIMC which shouldn't be found under the care of some other individual. 

In a video transferred on the authority Twitter handle of the NIMC, the Commission's lawful official in Kano said the activity was done related to a group from Abuja. 

He stated, "We circumvented Kano together to check for illicit tasks that were going on in certain spots, all the more especially business focuses and a few bistros. We express gratitude toward God that we made a few captures in around three focuses. 

"We accumulated such countless shows and proof and we have taken them to the police headquarters where the issue is being examined. 

"Part of the reports that we recuperated are NIMC slips, counterfeit plastic ID cards and some different records having a place with NIMC that shouldn't be under the care of anyone, yet sadly, we discovered them under the guardianship of these business community administrators." 

The legitimate official added that the administrators of the unlawful focuses will be prosecuted when the examination is closed. 

He stated, "truth be told, the examination is practically finished up. The FIR has been raised by the police."
