The administration of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile Ife, has fixed resumption of the 2019/2020 scholastic meeting for February 8, 2021. 

Scholarly exercises were disturbed by the Covid pandemic, and a strike activity by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) . 

OAU representative, Abiodun Olarewaju, said in articulation that the Senate met on Tuesday, January 19 to affirm various choices including the dropping of the 2020/2021 scholastic meeting. 

While the 2019/2020 scholastic meeting resumes on February 8, just last year understudies in the Faculty of Pharmacy, Clinical Students in the College of Health Sciences, and year four understudies in the Faculty of Agriculture are permitted to continue home. 

"Any remaining understudies are to go to their classes essentially," the assertion read. 

The college advised that staff, understudies, and different individuals from the college local area should carefully stick to wellbeing rules to battle the spread of COVID-19. 

The endorsed resumption program is dependent upon intermittent survey in accordance with the real factors of the pandemic, as per the foundation.
